Dr. Erik Zmuda is an American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics Fellow in Clinical Molecular Genetics who also currently works as a Molecular Genetics Technical Director in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology in 2009 at the Ohio State University (OSU), prior to working as a post-doc in an academic lab at OSU and subsequently the pharmaceutical industry (Regeneron Inc.). For the past three years he has directed operations in the molecular laboratory for The Cancer Genome Atlas Biospecimen Core Resource (TCGA-BCR) in the Research Institute at NCH.
