About The Presenter:
Mr. Greg Malkin, Director, the Entrepreneur Institute at University School

Mr. Malkin is Founder and Director of the Entrepreneur Institute at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio. The Entrepreneurship Institute supports the business courses, three year business major and many other business and entrepreneurship programs at University School in Hunting Valley. One of those programs is an annual Celebration of Youth Entrepreneurship in which well known youth entrepreneurs speak to students and adults in the area. He also serves as a math and business teacher at University School.

Mr. Malkin became an educator after achieving success as an entrepreneur. A Cleveland native and graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he founded Technical Software, Inc. in Cleveland in 1983 and sold it to Rand Worldwide in 2000. He then became executive vice president for IMAGINiT Technologies, a division of Rand. Mr. Malkin earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Education from Ursuline College. He is also a Certified Entrepreneurship Instructor for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship program (NFTE) in which he lead four E-City Bizcamps from 2006 to 2009.

Mr. Malkin has received many recognitions for his entrepreneurship education accomplishments, including being recognized by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) as a Teacher of the Year in 2010. Also in 2010, Mr. Malkin was recognized as an Outstanding Entrepreneurship Educator by the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education. In 2011 he was the recipient of the Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education awarded by the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
