Understanding the many entrepreneurial STEM research, development and commercialization initiatives in Ohio

Many of the world's leading STEM research and development initiatives are located in Ohio in areas such as 3D printing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, alternative energy, advanced materials, robotics, biomedical advancements, automated vehicles, drones, and on and on. All across Ohio, in Ohio's colleges and universities, there are leadership research, development and commercialization researchers and practitioners and initiatives that are creating the future.


These instructional materials were developed by Entrepreneurial Engagement Ohio (EEO) as part of the Believe in Ohio program.  

Believe in Ohio is a program collaboratively developed by EEO and the Ohio Academy of Science (OAS).

In this section, teachers will find videos of the Innovation Talks given at the February 2018 STEM Entrepreneurship & Innovation Forum at Kent State University.  Then, beginning in November 2018, the Innovation Talk videos from the seven STEM Entrepreneurship & Innovation Forums that are planned for the Fall of 2018 at Lorain County Community College, the University of Akron, Kent State University, Youngstown State University, John Carroll University, Cleveland State University and Ohio State University – Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center will be added to this section for teachers to share with their students.
