Understanding the many entrepreneurial STEM research, development and commercialization initiatives in Ohio
Many of the world's leading STEM research and development initiatives are located in Ohio in areas such as cellular, molecular, genomic and regenerative medicine, biomedical engineering and medical devices, polymers, liquid crystal technology, aerospace and aviation, nanotechnology, agriscience and more. All across Ohio, in Ohio's colleges and universities, there are leadership research, development and commercialization researchers and practitioners and initiatives that are creating the future.
This content track is a tremendous resource for Ohio's STEM teachers and students. It includes more than 70 videos of Ohio's innovative STEM researchers and practitioners. What teacher wouldn't want one of these speakers to visit their class to talk with their students? In addition to selecting individual videos to show to their classes, teachers are encouraged to give their students an assignment to peruse the list of video topics and find 3-5 of those that they find to be most interesting and inspiring.
These online course and instructional materials were developed by Entrepreneurial Engagement Ohio (EEO) as part of the Believe in Ohio program.
Believe in Ohio is a program of The Ohio Academy of Science (OAS) that was collaboratively developed by OAS and EEO.
