During a 10-week program, 350 students from four different Toledo high schools worked together with mentors from BGSU to brainstorm ideas for potential products and services.  Once an idea is developed, the students work to create a STEM business and commercialization plan and a "pitch" for their new product.

On April 28, 2016, the teams took the stage at BGSU and pitched 11 business ideas to a panel of judges at The Hatch Junior, an event setup similar to the hit TV Show "Shark Tank."

In addition to pitching their ideas, judges kept student's on their toes, asking detailed questions about their potential ideas.
